Water Cooled Compressor Series 5000

The name Frigoboat has been synonymous with engine driven refrigeration systems for sailing boats since 1971. We offer a choice of four sizes of holdover plates up to 350 (12.36 cu. ft.) liters of fridge and 175 (6.18 cu.ft.) litres of freezer. The system will run with either one or two such holdover plates of single or mixed temperatures. Compressor mounting kits are available for the most common diesel engines. Safety protection against both the loss of refrigeration or cooling water is incorporated. Controlled injection of refrigerant ensures that the compressor is cooled and lubricated even under the most severe conditions. No seawater pump needed as our bypass valve diverts part of the engine cooling water through the condensers cupro-nickel tubing. Optional remote control panel with on/off switch and indicator lights.
