Step 2: Choose Your Compressor/Condenser

Air cooled compressors are the least expensive and easiest to install, however they may not work as well in warm tropical waters where the air temperatures may be too warm to absorb enough of the refreigerant's heat to cool you box completely.

Keel and Water cooled systems work very well in both tropical conditions and the cooler areas of North America and Europe.
